These terms govern your use of AddSynapse Search & Filter — the WordPress plugin and the hosted search service behind it. By installing the plugin and activating a licence key, you accept them.

AddSynapse Search & Filter indexes your WooCommerce catalogue on our servers and answers search queries from your storefront. The plugin is the client; the search itself runs on our infrastructure. If our service is unreachable, search on your store falls back to WordPress's built-in search — your store keeps working.

The free plan does not expire and is not a trial. Plans limit how many products are indexed — only main products count; variations (size, colour) do not count toward the product limit. Separately, each plan has a cap on index records (one per variation when exact variation search is on).
If your catalogue exceeds your plan's limit, products beyond the limit are simply not indexed. Nothing is deleted and search keeps working for the products that are indexed. We enforce limits on our side; the plugin will tell you when you are close to one.
Fair use. Every plan, including the free one, includes a monthly volume of search requests per calendar month (UTC): Free: 50,000; Pro: 500,000; Business: 1,000,000; Enterprise: as agreed (by default 1,000,000). If your store goes above the volume of its plan, we notify you by email. We do not switch off, slow down or downgrade search automatically; any further step is taken only after we have contacted you.
If a payment fails, we will retry through Stripe and let you know. We do not cut off search without telling you first.
We aim to keep the service available and fast, but we offer no uptime guarantee on any plan, and none at all on the free plan. We will not pretend otherwise in order to close a sale. If we ever offer a service level, it will be written here in numbers.
We may change or discontinue features. If we discontinue something you depend on, or shut the service down, we will give you at least 30 days' notice by email so you can export your data and move.
We may suspend a store that is attacking our infrastructure, is being used unlawfully, or is unpaid after we have contacted you. Except where the law or an active attack requires immediate action, we contact you first.
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before it arose. On the free plan, that amount is zero — which is the honest consequence of a free service, and the reason the free plan carries no guarantees. Nothing here limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury, or anything else that cannot legally be limited.
For your catalogue and search statistics we act as your processor. What we receive, where it is stored, who else is involved and how long we keep it is set out in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms. If you need a signed data processing agreement, ask us.
We will email the address on your account before any change that affects you takes effect. If you do not accept a change, you may cancel — the free plan remains available to you either way.
These terms are governed by the law of Greece, and the courts of Greece have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory law in your country of residence.
